First consular consultation meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan was held

First consular consultation meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan was held online on October 13th, 2022. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Bold Bat-Ochir, Director of the Consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and by Mr. Toshihide Ando, Director-General of the Consular Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

During the meeting the two sides exchanged views on bilateral consular issues such as procedures under the coronavirus pandemic, facilitation of travel between Mongolia and Japan by citizens of both sides, protection of the rights of citizens, the cooperation between the legal and social security sectors as well as other bilateral issues.
