Mongolia, Japan Discuss Renewable Energy and Green Finance Cooperation
The “Invest Mongolia: Energy and Finance, Tokyo 2026” forum was held in Tokyo on May 15, 2026.
The event brought together Mongolian government officials led by Deputy Prime Minister T. Dorjkhand and Minister of Energy B. Naidalaa, alongside more than 240 representatives from Japanese government agencies, private companies, and investor organizations.
Fourteen Mongolian private sector companies presented their projects and explored partnership opportunities with Japanese businesses and investors.
The forum highlighted Mongolia’s investment climate in the energy and financial sectors, major ongoing projects, and opportunities to expand bilateral economic cooperation.
Discussions focused on renewable energy, energy transition, green finance, and building a sustainable investment environment, while identifying new avenues for practical cooperation and long-term partnership.
