A delegation led by Ms. B. Zandan, Director General of the Investment and Trade Agency of Mongolia, held an official meeting with Ms. Akiko Matsumoto, Vice Governor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, to discuss potential cooperation in renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), green investment, and sustainable urban development.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on Japan’s evolving renewable energy policy, including the transition from the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) scheme to the market-oriented Feed-in Premium (FIP) system, as well as emerging trends in battery storage and smart energy management.
